This blog was created to analyze the immigrants’ impact on the economic, social and political spheres in the second half of the 20th century in New York until a terrorist attack of September 11, 2001. It gives a short historical background on formation of five existing boroughs of New York city, touches upon main immigration acts and immigration flows to each boroughs. This is an educational project of the 3-rd year students of MSU, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Area Studies.
